Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Selling.uz ("we", "us", "our") and apply to your use of our website at selling.uz and our native Android and iOS applications (together, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or posting a listing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.

If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to register for or use the Service. By using Selling.uz, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

The Service is not directed to or intended for use by anyone under 18.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe do not meet these eligibility requirements.

To use certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including your full name, email address, and phone number. You may register with a password or through Google or Apple Sign-In (Sign in with Google / Sign in with Apple). You agree to keep your account information accurate and up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your password and use a strong, unique one.

Notify us promptly at support@selling.uz if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by law.

Selling.uz lets you post listings to sell goods or services and browse listings from others. You are solely responsible for your listings and for ensuring that all information you provide, including title, description, category attributes, price, photos, and location, is accurate, lawful, and not misleading.

You must own the items you list or otherwise have the legal right to sell them. You must not list items you do not actually possess or are not entitled to sell.

You agree to follow any listing rules we publish, including requirements that each listing accurately represents a real item or service and is posted in the correct category. We may remove listings that do not comply.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, including listing text, photos, and your profile photo ("Your Content").

By submitting Your Content, you grant Selling.uz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, and publicly display Your Content for the purpose of operating, providing, and promoting the Service. This license allows us to show your listings to other users, including on maps and in search results.

This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except to the extent the content has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or where retention is required by law as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.

You must not use the Service to list or trade prohibited items or to engage in prohibited conduct. Prohibited items include, without limitation: illegal goods or services; weapons, firearms, ammunition, and explosives where restricted; drugs and controlled substances; counterfeit, replica, or unlicensed goods; stolen property; and adult or sexually explicit content, child sexual abuse material, or any other illegal content.

Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: posting false, misleading, or fraudulent listings; spamming or posting duplicate or irrelevant listings; engaging in scams or fraud; harassing, threatening, or abusing other users; infringing the intellectual property or other rights of others; and impersonating any person or entity.

You must not attempt to scrape, crawl, harvest data, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems, or interfere with other users' use of the Service.

We may remove content and take action against accounts that violate these rules, and we may report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.

Selling.uz is a platform that allows users to post and find listings. We are not a party to, and are not involved in, any transaction between buyers and sellers. Transactions, communications, payments, and the exchange of goods or services take place directly between users.

We do not own, inspect, guarantee, or take possession of the items listed, and we do not verify the identity, statements, or trustworthiness of users beyond any measures we describe. We make no guarantee regarding the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of listings, the ability of sellers to sell or buyers to buy, or the completion of any transaction.

You are responsible for exercising your own judgment and caution when dealing with other users, including meeting safely and verifying items before completing a transaction.

The Service includes in-app messaging so you can communicate with other users about listings. You agree to use messaging lawfully and respectfully and not to send spam, scams, fraudulent offers, harassment, threats, or prohibited content.

We may review, moderate, and store messages to operate the Service, enforce these Terms, and keep users safe, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can report or block other users.

You are responsible for your own dealings with other users. Never share passwords, one-time codes, or full payment credentials in chat.

The Service may offer AI-assisted features, such as drafting a listing from your photos, suggesting a price, moderating content, and improving search. These features are provided as a convenience and on an "as is" basis.

AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated content before publishing it and for ensuring your listing is accurate and lawful. AI price suggestions are estimates only and are not financial, legal, or professional advice.

You must not use the AI features to generate unlawful, infringing, or deceptive content, or to disrupt or misuse the underlying providers.

We may offer paid features, including promoting or prioritizing individual listings and a Premium membership that bundles benefits such as additional AI usage, included listing boosts, a badge, and analytics. The applicable prices, benefits, and duration are presented to you before you purchase.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (currently Payme and Click) under their own terms; we do not store your full card details. A Premium membership runs for the prepaid term you select and does not auto-renew unless stated at purchase.

Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees for paid features are non-refundable, and buying a paid feature does not guarantee any particular result, such as a sale or a specific number of views. We may change, add, or remove paid features and their pricing for future purchases.

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, the "Selling.uz" name and brand, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Selling.uz or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws.

Except for Your Content and for the limited rights expressly granted to you to use the Service, these Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service or our intellectual property.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service, or use our trademarks, without our prior written permission.

We may review, moderate, edit, refuse, or remove any listing or content, and we may limit, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service, at our discretion, including where we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the Service or its users.

Where reasonable and lawful, we will try to give notice of significant actions, but we may act without prior notice when necessary, for example to address illegal activity, fraud, or security risks.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any content, listings, or users are accurate, reliable, or trustworthy.

Any reliance you place on the Service or on content posted by other users is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Selling.uz and its operators, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

We are not liable for the conduct of other users, for any transaction between users, or for any goods or services offered or exchanged through the Service.

To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the feature giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Selling.uz and its operators, employees, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, Your Content, your listings, your transactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or the rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with us.

The Service uses third-party services, including Google services (such as Google Sign-In, Google Maps, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Cloud Messaging) and Yandex (geocoding). Your use of features that rely on these services may also be subject to the third party's terms and policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, or content, and we do not endorse them. Any dealings you have with third parties are between you and that third party.

The following applies when you download or use our iOS app from the Apple App Store. These Terms are between you and Selling.uz only, and not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.

Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the app, and Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product-liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer-protection or intellectual-property law.

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist-supporting," and that you are not on any U.S. Government restricted-party list. You must also comply with any applicable third-party terms (for example, your wireless carrier's terms) when using the app.

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to applicable mandatory law, any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Before resorting to formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at support@selling.uz so we can try to resolve the matter informally.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms, and where changes are material we will provide additional notice through the Service or by other appropriate means.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and may delete your account.
